Eqforecast è l’applicazione che elabora le correlazioni tra le forze di attrazione gravitazionale, esercitata da luna e pianeti, e i dati di sismicità storica, in un momento ed in un luogo indicato dall’utente (il modello è in continuo perfezionamento), individuando terremoti potenzialmente precursori di sismi più forti e pericolosi per la vita umana ed animale. Questa APP, a differenza delle altre in commercio, consente di ricevere alert PRIMA dell'arrivo di una forte scossa, perché non si basa sul rilevamento di reti di telefoni cellulari di altri utenti delle onde sismiche appena provocate dal terremoto già avvenuto, ma su algoritmi astronomici e sequenze sismiche note, che normalmente anticipano l'innesco sismico della scossa più forte.
