Die App SOS EU ALP (ehemals "Notfall App") ermöglicht eine Standortbestimmung (x,y Koordinate) über das Smartphone. Diese Standortdaten können im Notfall direkt an die zuständige Leitstelle (Tirol, Südtirol oder Bayern) übermittelt werden. Das Anwendungsgebiet der App umfasst Notfälle zur Alarmierung von Rettungsdiensten, Berg- und Wasserrettung oder der Feuerwehr.
