Denna ordboksapp speglar innehållet i den femtonde upplagan av Svenska Akademiens ordlista, SAOL 15, från 2026. Ordlistan bygger på den lexikaliska databas som utarbetats och vidareutvecklas vid Språkbanken vid Institutionen för svenska, flerspråkighet och språkteknologi, Göteborgs universitet. Vad är SAOL? SAOL 15 ger i första hand rekommendationer om stavning, ordböjning och ordbildning av ett stort urval svenska ord. Därutöver ges också uppgifter om ordens uttal och bruklighet, och i många fall också kortfattade betydelseupplysningar. SAOL ska inte förväxlas med definitionsordboken Svensk ordbok utgiven av Svenska Akademien (SO) och det historiskt inriktade verket Svenska Akademiens ordbok (SAOB).
