Policía Nacional pone a tu disposición una aplicación móvil gratuita, que complementa a tu Documento Nacional de Identidad. Con ella podrás identificarte de manera presencial y utilizarla de igual manera que el documento físico. Esta app es la única oficial y con pleno soporte legal. La app incluye un verificador, para comprobar la autenticidad de las credenciales MiDNI de otros ciudadanos. Antes de utilizar esta app deberás completar el proceso de Registro, que consiste en asociar tu línea telefónica móvil a tu identidad. Podrás hacerlo utilizando los certificados de tu DNI electrónico a través de la página web https://www.midni.gob.es, en los puntos de actualización de documentación, PAD, situados en las comisarías de policía y otras dependencias o al renovar tu DNI en las Unidades de Documentación de Policía Nacional.
