The Meri Panchayat App has been designed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) of Ministry of electronics and IT, Government of India to facilitate unified & integrated mobile-based Governance Platform for 80 crore rural residents, functionaries, and all other stakeholders of the Panchayati Raj System. The Meri Panchayat App facilitates Transparency in all functions and operations of Panchayats, enforce accountability, facilitate public participation in functioning of Panchayats and preparation of panchayat development Plans.
