Flock Camera is a map of the license plate readers watching America's roads — Flock Safety cameras and every other ALPR brand — with alerts that warn you before you drive past one. More than 137,000 cameras (over 127k across the US, plus growing coverage in Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia), crowdsourced by the community and mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors, built right into the app. No account, no cloud, no tracking: the entire camera database lives on your phone, and your location never leaves it. THE FLOCK CAMERA MAP • Every mapped plate reader on Earth, on one map — 127,000+ in the US alone • See what each camera sees: view cones show the direction a camera points, not just where it stands • Flock Safety cameras in red, every other brand in amber • Tap any camera for details: brand, operator, direction, mount, last verified • Area stats for wherever you're looking: totals,…
Every shipping app on the App Store has gone through the same decisions you're working through right now: which screenshot goes first, what caption sits over it, which device frame to show, what color the background should be. The 7 screenshots above are Flock Camera's answers to those questions — they're public, they're real, and they made it through Apple's review.
What the numbers say: Flock Camera runs a mixed light-and-dark set where the background shifts from screenshot to screenshot (first shot #14141C) — each image has to stand on its own, so the captions carry more of the story. The accent colour we picked up, #5C4C2C, is the one to reuse for badges, arrows and highlighted words if you borrow this look. Notice the first screenshot in particular. It's the one users see in search results and on the product page, and it's where most apps spend their best caption and tightest design. Look at the proportion of background to phone, where the text sits, what one thing the image is trying to communicate.
