It covers fifteen fields of the decorative arts and teaches each one through short interactive lessons, then makes you prove what you learned against a question bank that remembers your weak points. Every lesson is written as a dialogue. It presents one idea, stops, and asks you to make a judgement before it goes on. A lesson on porcelain will show you two paste bodies and ask which one rings; a lesson on case furniture will show you a dovetail and ask what it says about the decade.
