Το Rovia είναι ένα εξειδικευμένο εργαστήριο για ένα πολύ συγκεκριμένο πρόβλημα του αστικού μπαλκονιού: το νερό που παραμένει κάτω ή γύρω από τις γλάστρες πολύ περισσότερο απ’ όσο περιμένεις. Δεν είναι εγκυκλοπαίδεια φυτών, ημερολόγιο κηπουρικής ή απλή υπενθύμιση ποτίσματος. Στόχος του είναι να σε βοηθήσει να καταλάβεις πού καθυστερεί πραγματικά η αποστράγγιση και αν μια αλλαγή που έκανες βελτίωσε μετρήσιμα την κατάσταση. Κάθε έλεγχος ξεκινά με ένα Drain Run. Μετράς το αρχικό βάθος του νερού στο πιατάκι ή σε ένα επιλεγμένο σημείο και στη συνέχεια καταγράφεις την αλλαγή του σε συγκεκριμένα χρονικά διαστήματα. Το Rovia δημιουργεί μια καμπύλη αποστράγγισης και υπολογίζει πόσο γρήγορα υποχωρεί το νερό. Παράλληλα δηλώνεις τι συμβαίνει στη διαδρομή: αν οι οπές της γλάστρας ακουμπούν σχεδόν πάνω σε επίπεδη επιφάνεια, αν υπάρχει νερό στο πιατάκι, αν η γλάστρα είναι υπερυψωμένη, αν το υπόστρωμα …
