Barometer outputs the current air pressure. Given the air pressure sensor of your phone or tablet is used. The barometer provides the current air pressure, the measured maximum and minimum. Furthermore, for increasing the accuracy of the measured value of the sensor can be shifted. Note not all devices have the air pressure sensor.
