What gets scored
Seven checks, 100 points, all measured from the public screenshots — no opinions, no AI guesswork:
- Screenshot count (20) — Apple allows 10; most listings stop at 5–6.
- Captions (20) — is there a text band, and is it above the phone where the search crop shows it?
- Visual consistency (15) — one background colour across the set, or a jumble of themes?
- Accent colour (15) — a saturated brand colour that repeats.
- Contrast (10) — WCAG ratio between accent and background, so highlights survive at thumbnail size.
- iPad set (10) — real iPad screenshots instead of stretched phone shots.
- Caption length (10) — 3–6 words read in the thumbnail; longer doesn't.
Every measurement and its limits are documented on the methodology page. Fix anything in the free editor — the "Fix it" button opens it with your listing's own colours already applied.
