Obtener datos acerca de los avistamientos y picaduras de medusas, es crucial para los diversos trabajos de investigación científica y disponer de una pequeña herramienta, que cualquiera pueda llevar instalada en su móvil y que simplifique al máximo la tarea de reportar dónde se localizan medusas o de sus efectos sobre las personas es justo lo que se necesitaba para proveer de datos a la ciencia.
