L'application Vikazimut est un projet d'étudiants de l'école d'ingénieurs ENSICAEN qui a pour objectif de faciliter la pratique des sports d'orientation. L'application remplace la carte papier, la boussole et le poinçon de validation des points de contrôle et affiche une analyse rétrospective du parcours réalisé. L'orienteur utilise l’application pour se repérer à partir de la carte affichée et valider son passage aux points de contrôle manuellement avec le lecteur de code QR ou automatiquement à partir de la position GPS. En fin de parcours, l’application affiche des statistiques sur la réalisation du parcours : le temps total, le temps intermédiaire entre chaque balise et le tracé du parcours sur la carte. Vikazimut se présente sous deux modes : un mode course où l’orienteur n’est pas aidé pour sa localisation et un mode promenade où l’orienteur est positionné sur la carte en temps …
