Iedereen in Nederland moet altijd een NL-Alert kunnen ontvangen en NL-Alert moet voor iedereen duidelijk zijn. De NL-Alert app helpt hierbij. De app is speciaal ontwikkeld voor mensen die regelmatig aan de grens met Duitsland of België zijn en daardoor niet altijd NL-Alerts ontvangen. De NL-Alert app is er ook voor mensen met een visuele of auditieve beperking waardoor een NL-Alert niet altijd duidelijk is. 1. Mensen die zich vaak dicht bij de grens bevinden Het kan zijn dat hun mobiele telefoon soms is verbonden met een Duitse of Belgische zendmast. Die zendmasten sturen geen NL-Alert uit.
