We organize the Coffee Race to give you a fun time! To show you where to find the best coffee in your city and meet people who share similar passions. Pure fun, lots of excellent coffee, and a reason not to stay home. The Coffee Race application is not only a tool that allows you to take part in our events, but also a coffee shop search app. On our blog you will read what is happening in the specialty coffee industry, but also about interesting facts from the bicycle industry. The application is free, you can download it and see what's in it without creating an account. Creating an account will be necessary if you want to take part in one of our Coffee Race events. The Coffee Race app will be systematically developed and will combine cycling with specialty coffee, giving you many interesting opportunities to participate in various events and interesting special actions.
Every shipping app on the App Store has gone through the same decisions you're working through right now: which screenshot goes first, what caption sits over it, which device frame to show, what color the background should be. The 4 screenshots above are Coffee Race App's answers to those questions — they're public, they're real, and they made it through Apple's review.
What the numbers say: Coffee Race App runs a mixed light-and-dark set where the background shifts from screenshot to screenshot (first shot #1C1C24) — each image has to stand on its own, so the captions carry more of the story. The accent colour we picked up, #CC8C3C, is the one to reuse for badges, arrows and highlighted words if you borrow this look. Hit Use this style to open the editor with these exact colours and drop your own screenshot in.
Notice the first screenshot in particular. It's the one users see in search results and on the product page, and it's where most apps spend their best caption and tightest design. Look at the proportion of background to phone, where the text sits, what one thing the image is trying to communicate.
