Le jeu propose plusieurs types de tuiles spéciales. Une tuile étoile fait office de joker et compte automatiquement pour le motif le plus fréquent dans votre réserve. Une tuile cloche supprime toutes les tuiles du même type simultanément. Une tuile givre offre un bouclier temporaire qui supprime automatiquement la tuile la plus ancienne de la réserve si celle-ci est pleine. Ces tuiles spéciales apparaissent entre les tuiles classiques et nécessitent une stratégie pour être utilisées efficacement. Trois outils sont disponibles à chaque manche. Annuler permet de revenir en arrière d'un tour. Mélanger intervertit aléatoirement les tuiles libres et visibles sans modifier leur position dans les couches.
