112NL is de officiële app van de Nederlandse noodhulpdiensten politie, brandweer, ambulance en Koninklijke Marechaussee. Vanaf nu kunt u in een noodsituatie 112 ook bellen via 112NL. Als u met 112NL 112 belt, stuurt u extra gegevens naar de meldkamer. Hierdoor kan de meldkamer u sneller en beter helpen. Zo kunt u al in 112NL aangeven wie u wilt spreken (politie, brandweer of ambulance) en of u niet goed kunt spreken of horen. Als het contact met u via de telefoon niet goed verloopt, dan kan de meldkamer via 112NL een chatgesprek starten. Bijvoorbeeld als u niet of moeilijk kunt spreken of horen, of als u niet goed Nederlands of Engels spreekt. Bovendien deelt uw telefoon automatisch uw locatie met de meldkamer.
