Le Champion is met 45 medewerkers, 18.000 members en dankzij de inzet van 3.500 vrijwilligers één van de grootste sportorganisaties van Nederland. Met tientallen evenementen voor fietsers, hardlopers en wandelaars brengt Le Champion jaarlijks 300.000 mensen in beweging. Een aantal zeer bekende evenementen zijn: NN Dam tot Damloop, strandrace GP Groot Egmond-Pier-Egmond, Zandvoort Circuit Run, De 4 van Alkmaar, de Ronde van Noord-Holland, Egmond Halve Marathon en de TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Le Champion is een organisatie zonder winstoogmerk, met een maatschappelijke opdracht: zoveel mogelijk mensen – jong en oud – inspireren en faciliteren om te sporten en te bewegen, om daarmee bij te dragen aan vitale mensen en een gezonde en verbonden samenleving.
