Dalail ul Hayrat 2.0.5 This application is based upon the Dalail el Hayrat book from Semerkand Publications. Making dua for Rasulullah (s.a.w), his family and companions is called salawat. One of the great walis of the fifteenth century, Hazrat Sulayman Jazuli of Morocco wrote Dala’il-ul-Hayrat in order to gather all salawats recited by Muslims. The story of the writing of the book is as follows: “Every night, Hazrat Sulayman Jazuli’s wife travels to and back from Madina al-Munawwara. The great wali asks her how she does this, and what she has done to gain such a degree. She replies: “I know a salawat-i sharifa, and I go and come back thanks to this.” But she does not tell the salawat, because it is a secret (sirr).
